About Us

The Jindo Project is currently the only incorporated, 501(c)(3) rescue organization in the United States dedicated to saving the Korean Jindo dog.
Our mission is to rescue and re-home Korean Jindo dogs and to educate the public and create awareness about the breed.

100% Volunteer Based

The Jindo Project is a 100% volunteer based organization with the majority of our volunteers located in Southern California, where the greatest numbers of Jindos are showing up in shelters on a regular basis.

Locations

The Jindo Project has a handful of volunteers and foster homes in Southern California, Northern California, Texas and New Jersey. Because Jindos are beginning to show up in shelters across the United States, and even in Canada, volunteers and foster homes are desperately needed for the Jindo Project to reach our goal of becoming a nationwide rescue organization.
